Home Depot has purchased the Regency Theatre and portions of the North Hills Mall to build a new store.
The proposed store will be larger than the Roscoe store but have 23% less parking.
What will happen to the traffic at Devonshire and Balboa which is already one of LA’s high-injury intersections? What will happen to our residential neighborhood and property values when a 136,000 sq. ft. light industrial site is added? What impact will several thousand more trucks each day (including 18-wheeler rigs) have on traffic, air quality, noise pollution, and safety? What will happen to the 150-plus students who use this intersection daily?
Please attend this meeting.
